Survive Cat Allergies

Survive Cat Allergies - Many people suffer from cat allergies due to protein in the cat's saliva. The protein is applied on the care around the cat's fur. It must be fixed on household surfaces and people even when cats rub their faces against them their scent.

How to Survive Cat Allergies

Don't let your cat sleep in your bedroom. You can also confine your cat to one area of house, or allow it to be mostly outdoor cat to minimize allergens in areas of house you spend most time in.

Clean surfaces in your house regularly that cat frequents, such as cat bed or couch.

Clean your cat's fur gently once month with distilled water. When she grooms herself, her saliva dries on her fur and forms dandruff. dandruff is then spread around house and on to you when you pet her. Cleaning her monthly will remove this excess and limit allergen.

Use air filter to purify air in your home and filter out some of floating allergens.

Try over-the-counter decongestant or antihistamine to relieve symptoms. If all of above options fail, but you don't want to find your cat new home, over-the-counter medicines are option for getting rid of symptoms allergens cause. Find decongestants and antihistamines at your local drugstore and follow dosing instructions carefully.
