Nasal sprays help to reduce swelling, thereby improving issue. You should only use nasal sprays for few days. If used for longer, they can worsen your nasal symptoms.


Sleep with humidifier in room. Dry air worsens runny nose, while moist air helps to thin mucus. When you use humidifier, air will be more moist.


Mix 1 teaspoon of salt with 1 cup of warm water. Put some of mixture into eyedropper. Tilt your head back and release few drops into your nose. As you breain deeply, salt water solution will irrigate your nasal passages. Repeat process several times to fully cleanse your nose. You may also purchase saline nasal drops at drug store.
